Garlic is another really easy one! Low maintenance, doesn't take up much space, and produces delicious garlic shoots! Use them in recipes, grind them into powder, or make garlic oil from them.

1. Garlic is almost as easy as green onions to grow! Just stick one small clove in the ground with the pointed side facing up and pat the soil around them down. Make sure it's packed nice and firm.

2. Water your garlic immediately.

3. Proceed to water regularly. I tend to spray mine with a water mist once a day during the summer. Water the soil whenever it dries out. Like green onions, you want to keep them moist until the roots grow, but you don't want to drown them.

4. Within a week or so, you'll have fresh garlic shoots growing! You can use these green shoots in place of garlic for recipes. Once the plant has matured, you'll have a full garlic bulb to harvest!
